The Correct Order for Mixing Nutrients

Mixing nutrients isn’t just “dump and stir.” If you mix them in the wrong order, some nutrients bind together and become unavailable to your plants.

Here’s the simple 6-step system we recommend:

1. Start with RO or distilled water.

2. Add Cal-Mag (especially important if using RO water).

3. Add FloraMicro first. (It contains essential micros that can’t mix directly with other nutrients.)

4. Add FloraGro or FloraBloom depending on growth stage.

5. Add Hydroguard. (Beneficial microbes that help protect roots and boost nutrient uptake.)

6. Adjust pH last.

Stir thoroughly between each step. Think of it like baking—if you don’t follow the recipe, the results flop.
